Allan Hancock College Fine Arts Complex

The new Fine Arts Complex in Santa Maria, CA is an 88,796 SF, two-story facility that seamlessly blends fine arts and performing arts into one unified space. The complex includes specialized rooms for dance and rehearsal, as well as music, visual arts, photography, painting, video production studios, film/video, multimedia, and applied design. Additionally, the facility features a state-of-the-art recital hall. This project was managed by general contractor AMG and is designed to provide a creative and functional environment for students and artists alike.

Belvedere Middle School

The Belvedere Middle School Comprehensive Modernization project spans 160,000 square feet and transformed over 200,000 square feet of educational space, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities for future generations of students. With a contract value of $147.2 million, the project delivers upgraded classrooms, ADA improvements, enhanced safety features, and modernized infrastructure to support a thriving learning environment. The project was managed by general contractor Hensel Phelps.

Burris Pump Station

The Burris Basin Pump Station Project is a $24 million project for the Orange County Water District. This project is critical for the district's ground water recharge operations. It involved the demolition of an outdated pump station and the installation of a new, efficient vertical pump system in a wet well. Topping out supported the completion of this project that was done in two phases. We are thrilled to see it recognized with multiple awards for innovation and impact. This project was constructed under the direction of Pacific Hydrotech Corporation.

Cal Poly Technology Park Tech Phase 2

This new two-story, 16,000 SF building includes classroom space, office areas, restrooms, and a staff kitchen. With a contract value of $12.2 million, the project is designed to provide essential facilities for a functional and efficient workspace. The project was managed by general contractor AMG.

Chen Neuroscience Research Building

The Chen Neuroscience Research Building at Caltech spans 144,780 SF and is designed to advance groundbreaking scientific discovery in the field of neuroscience. With a contract value of $193.5 million, this state-of-the-art facility provides cutting-edge laboratories and collaborative spaces, fostering innovation and advancing research for years to come. Chino Instructional Building

AMG served as the General Contractor for this project, which features a new 35,676 SF two-story instructional building designed to expand the campus’s classrooms, offices, resources, event spaces, and support areas to accommodate its growing needs. The building's unique overlapping “L-shaped” design creates a geometric connection that symbolizes unity and forms a weather-protected courtyard, enhancing the entry experience. A spacious two-story lobby and student commons space serve as the central social hub, leading to various building areas. Its curved form shields against Santa Ana winds, creating a protected outdoor courtyard and entry areas. High-performance glazing, custom skylights, and daylighting devices ensure optimal lighting while minimizing artificial lighting needs.

CSUS Child Development Center

The new CSUS Child Development Center spans 14,318 SF and will house offices, research spaces, and daycare rooms, supporting the university’s mission to advance child development studies. With a project valuation of $15.2 million, this facility will provide essential resources for education, research, and childcare, enriching both the campus and the surrounding community. The project was managed by general contractor AMG.

Kaiser Specialty Medical Office Building and Campus Parking Structure 

This $65.6 million, three-story medical office building and parking structure in the City of Irwindale includes exam rooms, offices, multiple labs, an ambulatory surgery unit, and a pharmacy. The parking structure spans 113,160 SF, providing over 300 parking spaces, with an additional 100+ spaces available in an onsite parking lot. The project was managed by general contractor Hensel Phelps.

LAX Airport Police Facility 

The new Airport Police Facility at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) spans 12 acres and features a state-of-the-art 165,300 SF headquarters building. The project also includes a four-story, 340,000 SF parking structure with 863 stalls, a 41,000 SF firing range, a 9,000 SF quad area, and a variety of new indoor and outdoor functional spaces for the Airport Police Division (APD). Designed and constructed to meet CALGreen Tier 1 standards and LEED Silver certification, this facility consolidates eight separate APD resources into a single campus. The project, managed by general contractor Hensel Phelps, was completed in 38 months and was finalized in August 2021. The contract value for this redevelopment was $182.5 million.

Reseda High School Comprehensive Modernization Project

This $170 million modernization project will introduce approximately 95,000 square feet of new construction to the campus, with an estimated completion date in 2025. The project includes the demolition of 10 buildings, 23 relocatable buildings, and covered walkways, as well as the construction of new permanent buildings and structures. It will also fund essential infrastructure upgrades, accessibility improvements, and enhanced safety features. Additionally, the project will feature new landscaping and hardscaping to further enhance the campus environment. The project is being managed by general contractor Hensel Phelps.

Southwest Airlines Terminal 1 Modernization

The Southwest Airlines Terminal 1 Modernization Program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) involved the renovation of 431,000 SF of terminal space. The modernization included upgrades to ticketing areas, departure levels, security screening checkpoints, the installation of checked baggage inspection systems, and the enhancement of information technology services. With a contract value of $398,114,069, the project spanned 68 months and was completed in November 2018. The project was managed by general contractor Hensel Phelps.

UCR School of Medicine Building II

The new School of Medicine Education Building II spans 95,476 SF and includes classrooms, teaching spaces, lecture halls, study/lounge areas, and academic and administrative offices and support spaces. The project also involves site development, landscaping, the relocation of an existing generator, and the creation of a code-compliant fire lane and service access. With a contract value of $85,910,584, this state-of-the-art facility is designed to support advanced medical education and research. The project was managed by general contractor Hensel Phelps.
